Should we have the death penalty as an option for punishment? Why? Why not?

I say an eye for an eye. but i dont think drug dealers should be executed. i think only murderers should be killed.

I am all for it. But they need a better way of doing it. somthing that is fast and dose not cost alot. Like a .50 slug to the side of the head. If i was on death row thats the way i would have it.

 

not in all cases but something like murder of the first degree yes you kill someone on purpose you should be put down also

 

im for it but it cost so much to do, in other countries they just put a bullet in the back of your head and your family pays the bill, even if u are senticed to death u still gonna spend alot of years on death row befor they off u anyways. this country needs to be more cost efficient

 

Well the politics of CP play a big factor in how fast they get executed; if they get a chance to appeal...etc. i had to write a paper on it. i called it "Killing for votes"

 

Glad to see everyone is for it, makes me think, why dosent the process move faster. I understand if they have somthing pending, but come on.

 

because of the bill of rights. which allows appeals to a higher court. and becasue of senator teahy's bill entitled Justice for All. which gives every death row inmante the option to take a DNA to prove innocence or guilt
