Default Cancel the account...

After watching Redgoat's Jiffy Lube video I figured I'd keep with the poor customer service theme and put this video up. My favorite part is "Someday when you calm down..." Like it's a life or death decision.

The audio of that call was way better. You get a real sense of how crazy the AOL rep was. It's like that with every company though. I cancelled my capital one card last month that I had since high school and they were absolutely crazy. Companies don't care about customer service anymore. It's just the way it is. AOL is evil.

That AOL guy is pathetic!

I cancelled an AOL account once years ago and they made it next to impossible to find the number to call or the email address to send the cancellation to. There was finally a court case that made them make this information more accessible.

we should seriously try and make a parody of this.. and call the IRS and say exactly what that guy said.. it would be funny.. or at least i would laugh by myself either way I win!!
