I got **** from the boss(es) at work today because the computers have been doing weird things. I visit AF, the local dub forum, check email on gmail and hotmail, myspace, and facebook. Somehow I'm downloading viruses or something.

meanwhile, the other guy who uses this computer downloads stuff from serials 2000, has limewire running, some random stock ticker he downloaded, etc.

Its MY fault the computers act weird though.

Simply because you almost have to try to screw up a computer with linux is why I'd use nothing else if I could. The dual boot is only so I have something up for the times I can't find a linux alternative, and other than that, it sounds like I'll have my wish with the new building. Nobody is allowed to use anyone elses computer, so if one goes down, everyone knows who to blame. I'll be bringing my Eee netbook to work with me (runs Debian) and plugging in with that. Still might steal someones monitor though, the 9" screen is kinda tough to browse the random pics thread with.

hey matt.

where did u get those computers from... i actually need to get a basic p4 machine now. i want to set up a media center server in my house. i have a computer perfect for it, but its a dedicated Linux server. and im not switching it over to MCE, or giving up my Game servers LOL. or do u know any places i can get a decent p4 tower for around 50-60$?

actually never mind... i just won a blade server on ebay :P
