Well, according to the doctor, I broke it because of a nasty coughing spell that I had, and since I didn't treat it like a mild stress fracture, it wound up completely breaking. So, now I have a mess of codeine, a weak story, and my boss/coworkers are making fun of me.

 

Damn, that's some hardcore coughing!

The best part was that I drove up to Portland, ME from Long Island on Sunday for some autocrossing, went into the second turn, tapped the brakes, seatbelt locked up and bam, I can't breathe. Went off course and wasn't able to complete the other 8 runs.

Howards Beach for business, but since this is one of the last races of the season, I didn't want to miss it. Teh suck, because it was a long, painful drive home back to the South Shore...
