Default broken ankles dont shift well

While its pretty bland in comparison to achTTung's frankenstein knee, I broke my left ankle and uh cant put any weight on it for a month, which kinda sucks for a manual transmission [8D]No point to the post, just sucks seeing my car sit in the garage and being chauffered around instead of driving.

I hear ya. I sprained my ankle 4 weeks ago over the weekend. The first thought I had was "uh oh manual." Quickly relized that my fiancee needs to become comfortable driving manual alone. I taught her how but shes a nancy and won't go out alone. Her A4 is auto and it would have been nice come Monday to take that to work rather than suffer through DC traffic in a manual TT.

that sucks, I hear you about the girly though, mine can drive stick, just not smoothly. whats worse is that i think my temp registration has expired, and since I couldnt drive to get it inspected, I may have to pay for registration again. ah well. at least i and not the ride got broken, i heal, car just sits there :P Good luck on the traffik side of things and commuting, fortunatley my girlys work is on the way to mine, I just get dropped off at the crip entrance.
