yo dude, that is a really bad break... your going to need surgery for that one, but im sure you already know that..
edit: i used to work in an ambulance and had people break bones all the time, some not too bad, some really bad outta skin kinda stuff...
down time... come up with a crazy sweet story to draw in the ladies on how you broke it, like, i was protecting an old woman while 3 huge dudes were trying to rob her or something not so far fetched haha...
movies, music all that good stuff... youll find your life wont be too much different, showers are going to be a pain though, and other little things you usually dont notice, but its not like your bound to your bed...

yeah, if you get an option of a waterproof cast... GET IT! if you have to pay extra for it... PAY FOR IT! It is totally worth it. I had a really bad break before and had an above the elbow cast for 6 weeks then a below the elbow cast for 5 weeks. The first one was not water proof... total pain in the ***!
