I matured, beleive it, or not. It's as simple as that. The time I spent in Europe, in the Army, gave me a chance to *SEE* things much LESS myopically. My *world* became BIGGER, and I realized how small it actually is. Lost some friends along teh way. Made some I'll NEVER lose, no matter HOW long or what circumstance. And, like I said, I've seen and done things that most poeple can only imagine. And a few things even *I* didn't ever imagine existed, let alone that I'd be doing them. Got married. Then watched it ALL come tumbling down around me. Been so low I prayed for a quick death. Been so on top of teh world EVERYTHING I did turned out golden. Somewhere along teh line I realized that the difference between the two was as much luck as it was skill, and, "Fall-Down-Seven-Times, Get-UP-Eight."

We, each of us on this planet, aren't so very different from each other as we'd like to believe. Skin-tone won't make or break ANYONE! Success comes in stages. There BUT for the Grace of God (or, whatever your belief system holds most high) go each and every one of us.

Right now I'm listening to ALfonso Blackwell's "Precious Love," which may have something to do with that sappy response...

welll...it would have been two years on dec. 31st....but i guess it doesn't matter anymore. besides...i have a new interest...and he DOES have an Audi!
