soooooo boys...I just would like to know...how many of you have broken up with a girl right before christmas and was it for the obvious reasons?

(yes, it did happen to me recently and I was pissed...but he drove a GTO anyways...I need a man with an Audi!)

but if he crawls back, make him shower you with expensive gifts, then you can decide if you should keep him around.

I've never done it before. I've always liked buying presents for my girlfriends.

Does it actually matter when a guy or girl for that matter breaks up wtih someone else.... (in terms of holidays??) not counting birthdays or soemthing like that... I mean, yeah, its pretty low to break up with someone just to avoid buying a present.. But if youre upset cause youre not getting a present then its pretty shallow anyways.

I'd say it pretty common to break up around holidays.
Most people around this time of year asses the relationship.

I've been broken up with around X-mas time, and a lot of people
I know have done it or had it happen. Really it has nothing to
due with the gift. It's more you don't really want that person around
all your family & friends. You would rather be with them over you
BF/GF.

Of course there are the losers out there who are just to cheap to buy a gift.
Are they really hard to notice?

 

OK, troo confessions time. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when. BEFORE I had my A.T.Jazz moniker (the "A.T." stands for "All-That," BTW). BEFORE I'd spent a decade-and-a-half living in and loving Europe. BEFORE I knew what it REALLY meant to BE a Man. You DAMN skippy I done it. I'd keep 'em around until the onset of teh very next gift-giving event... Then I'd KICK 'EM TO DA KURB!!! TMP had it going ON, back then! Hell, MOST of then dint even KNOW my REAL name. My family got to teh point (most of this was when I was in H.S., and livin at home wit Mom-ski) where they'd give the phone to me whenever some female called and asked for any male name. 99% of the time they were right to do so. I'm not exactly PROUD of any of this, but, it's a part of how I got to BE the Man I am, today. On my 18th Birthday I slept with 7 DIFFERENT Women, starting and ending with my then long-term G/F. But that's not me, anymore. I've roped ALL the Broncs I feel I need to. Climbed almost all the Mountains. Been places, and seen and done things MOST people only ever dream about. People that KNOW me, know me, know me to be an honest and upright humanitarian. Hell, some of you, on here, KNOW how soft-hearted I can be. Others know that I also have an acerbic wit and teh skills to use it.

Looking back to who I was, THEN, I'd say you're MUCH better off without that loser. There are TOO MANY good people around, to share the best of YOU with. GOOD RIDDANCE.
