That's a bummer. In Iowa, there are no regulations of any kind regarding the rear windows - so basically you can go as dark as you want with them. But the front sides cannot be any darker than 70% light transfer, and you can only tint the top 6" of the windshield. You can get an exemption for the fronts, though; if you fill out the proper form and keep it and a doctor's note in the car stating that you require darker tint for medical purposes (sensitive eyes), then you can go as dark as 35% light transfer.
I told my parents last summer that a doctor's note could be my birthday present, because it's the same way here, but they said 'no'. [:@] I might go get one this summer anyway.

Seriously though, my eyes are sort of sensitive. And I think we all know how much good the visors in our beloved B5s do most of the time. [&:]

I'd go with a big cancel on painting the Audi rings - those should always be silver. Period. End of story. I'm also not a huge fan of yellow fogs - not my taste. It seemssilly to go to the bother of doing the clear corner mod and then turn around and re-introduce yellow lights elsewhere.
+1 and +1

so ismost all of your money going towards your car?
was that a stupid question?

(yes and yes)

i say no to 'lightly' tinting the tail lights

great idea for the extra set of lowers that are painted for summer

the led's in the inside is something id like to see in person, but would be a pretty good idea

This is the look that I'm going for, if it makes any difference...

I've yet to see it in person, but good photography is enough to convince me...

Personally, I'd leave the rings silver or paint them black - either way looks great.
