I was reading that you can skip the whole iDrive thing too as long as you don't get the Nav package.

 

yea iDrive sucks *** i hear
but i know now that its a force induction car that thing will be a monster

its an Inline 6 also which means it the perfect set up for a huge single turbo

 

good god. im actually interestd to see the aftermarket stuff thats going to comout within a year or 2.

Oh don't worry, I'm sure it'll drive like *** like all of the rest of the new ('05+) BMWs. The 335i or the Z4M might be the ones to change the direction BMW has taken, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too much. BMW is trying so hard to steal sales from Mercedes that they are basically just building ugly Mercs. The 335i is probably going to feel just like the CLK.

 

its ugly, same with all the new series, and if the new m3 can take the rs4, then audi will let the R8 out on those *******, or throw the lambo V10 in the RS4, audi will win this,

 

Well, that is kind of a goofy comparison, that's like comparing the M5 to a TT, totally different class. And if you really want to toss the R8 into the mix, then compare it to the M6, since that's really the closest class.

Plus, do you really think that if Audi won't put the Gallardo V10 in the R8 that they're going to put it in a sedan?
