OK... so my friends mom picked up a 2002 BMW 330ci with a tip... and I have my mommys Ford Escape. Little rundown... the Escape has a 3.0 Duratec pushin 200hp and around 195lb/tq with 4x4.. don't need to list the specs of the BMW... we get the picture.
Anyway, automatic vs. automatic (not very exciting) we were just joking around, and on our ride to downtown tonight we happened to be staged against eachother. So... just for sh*ts... I revved him... and we were on. Green light, we both get off quick...




...and I pulled him.. .the ESCAPE won... uh...
lol, not totally... but still...c'mon, it's a friggen SUV. So yeah, I had him till about 90km/h, then he started coming, and he passed.

Let's go over this one again.

see... the Escape is fast... downlow. It's got no tpo end (contrary to popular belief... unlike the POS Honda CR-V.. the Escape is also a kickass offroader) It pulls HARD. with a manual, this thing would rip. So... I knew it was fast... just not HOW fast. Now, you can imagine my friends surprise as they see a Ford Escape rip a BMW. Girl in the passenger seat of the BMW and hte guy in the back were rather stunned. The 2 guys in the back of my truck and the guy in hte passneger seat were just staring in awe... looking behind them at the BMW getting spanked. Everyone was just quiet... until the BMW started pulling, then the world finally came to normal terms again. It was wierd... really wierd. I want -MY- Escape back!!!!!!! Miss htat little trooper

I'll bet all you guys in the Escape were leaning forward, and all teh guys in the BMTroubleU were leaning back. BTW, how many stickers are on teh Escape? How high is teh wing? White rims? Coffee-can exhaust tip? (no other possible scenario explains it)

 

Sorry - but I'm having a very hard time with this story......Take it from someone that went from a Jeep Cherokee to a 2003 Escape (back in Sept of 04) and yes it had the 3.0 engine, I was so unhappy with everthing about the Escape it only took me until the end of February (5 months) to dump it off at the audi dealership for my used A4 - Which I am very pleased with...I picked it up when it was snowing . .. about 3-4 " of snow on the roads. And the A4 Q system was much better than the Escape was......yeah I was surprised.

Maybe the driver was color blind and couldn't tell when the light turned green.

I could be wrong - maybe mine was a lemon. but you would hear me saying I want my Escape back......
