Blue Angels In Town!!!

RE: Blue Angels In Town!!!
Like I said, last time I saw them. Their routines change every year, but the last time all they did were a few barrel rolls and immelmann turns, which pretty much every other aircraft at the show did. And that superman flyby is staggered about 200 feet apart, they never get close, its all in the perspective, plus the fact that you never see it coming you dont realize how far apart they are. Now watching the Tbirds do a full formation 5 point rotation with wingtips literally inches apart is impressive....

the super man flyby is more like 100 feet apart and flying a plain that is p 50ft wide at 350mph plus towards another plane doing the same thing. thats now kinda normal. yeah, they know what there doing and the chanses of them coming together are about none, but still.

Yea, I'll be there. I've got work Friday and Saturday. I'll be trying to get out on the I-90 bridge on Sunday, to watch the airshow. I can't believe I had to work this Saturday... Dang...

Haven't seen them in a long while. Used to go every year to Point Magu, then El Toro.
El Toro's gone now. Pt. Magu has a problem with fog. Shows frequently got shortened or cancelled alltogether.
.
Are they still flying F-16's ? (I think that's what they they were.)
