Default The Blue Angels

Two days ago I went down to Lake Washington and watched the amazing Blue Angels F-18 Hornetsfly. My dad has taken me to watch them ever since I was little. The Blue Angels have been flying at seafair since 1972. They are still so amazing! I actually got to meet the maintenance crew for the AV-8B Harriers. They loved coming seattle because the weather and the people we so nice.

Also part of the seafair airshow:

The Patriots (L-39's)
Fat Albert (C-130 Hercules)
Boeing F-15 Eagles's
AV-8B Harriers
KC-135 Stratotanker

There was also some boat races, but I'm not much of a fan. Me and my buddies watched a few, but it got pretty old after about three.

Has anyone been able to see the Blue Angels flylately?
If you haven'tseen them before and youhavethe chance, I strongly suggest going!

Here is a good little video of the Blue Angels that I found...

I saw the BA back in Louisiana back in '83 when they were still flying the F-4 Phantoms. They have an airshow at Andrews AFB every year up here, but as far as i know, only the Thunderbirds fly that one.

Either way - both groups put on one hell of a show.

I used to watch them back when South Weymouth was open. I would sit on top of one of the C5-B's (it's good to know people on base, huh?) some of my more fond childhood memories

I didn't get to go out this weekend because of my work schedule. It's the first show I've missed in a looong time.

I saw them a couple of times in the mid-late 80's at Moffett Field when it was still a NAS, and also at Fleet Week in San Francisco when they were there.

I slept through it. My buddy even called me to wake me up to go watch them and I answered it, said i was on my way, layed back down and went back to sleep.
