Default Best way to sell fast?

I've posted here and just posted on Cars.com, but am considering a print ad as well. The dealership is giving me $7500 for my car and the private party value is closer to $12!

Do you guys have any tips for selling cars quickly? I'd like to get this taken care of in a week or so. I am going to do the whole window sticker deal and will keep it parked on the street, but I have a deposit on an '06 A4 and would like to get rid of this '03 w/o being upside down on my current loan.

Fastest way would be to offer a great deal while your car is immaculate.

Post up on AutoTrader, Cars, and Craigslist.

Good luck!

KBB and NADA mean nothing. The dealer is going to give you what it would cost them to go buy one at an auction and that's just about exactly how much the auction report says. If you hadn't made the down payment yet you could have talked them a bit lower on the car and just made them lose some profits at this point that's too late. GL selling it but it's still gonna be hard to get more then 8500 for it.

+1 on Craigslist. Everyone goes there now looking for anything and everything. That'll be your best online bet I'm sure, far more than AutoTrader, especially if you have mods on the car or anything.

+2 on craigslist. Especially on modded vehicles like ImTheDevil said. Whenever I'm at the school computer lab or what not or with a friend, craigslist is is just the place to go mainly for cars or trucks. I also remember posting my car on craigslists, and all kinds of people at school and outside of school would recognize it from being on it. I'd get lots of calls and e-mails for anything I'd post on it.

Also mention that you need to cash for college and stripping at nights only does so much.

You'll get plenty of calls for sure!
