Yikes ... I wouldn't touch a Mustang .... EVER .... everyone, their mother, their mother's mother (your grandmother), and my sister's dog has a mustang.
and someone on here said it wasn't a chic car. HA.

Ergh.. hated the escort cosworth. the Sierra was soooo much better looking! (I know the escort used the same chassis, but ergh all the same!!). Hey, you doing anything for bonny night when you're in the states? I think we're having a big **** off fire here! baked spuds and marshmallows! Yummy!
Unfortunately not much. God I miss Bonfire Night. The fireworks, the smell, the atmosphere, setting things on fire

They ahd a programme here last night, where Richard 'I'm the ham, ster from top gear' Hammond actually set up the Gunpowder plot. Built the House of Lords, as it was, etc. Got the gunpowder set up, (1 tonne of it), and blew the ****** up. It was one hell of an explosion!!! damned impressive. no doubt there will be clips soon on the net!

$25K?
SVT Focus

his dad talking about no car below 2000 actually probably has to do with resale. you'd be mighty surprised how much of a difference the 1999-2000 makes when selling (and buying) a used car. however... the car's resale is going to be crap anyway... so it really doesn't apply

hamster wasn't playing Guy Fawkes, but was just doing a 'pulp science' type show, where they saw what the result would have been should he have blown up 36 barrels of gunpowder!

SRT-4 is cheap to mod. Your bud could put $3000 into it and run high 11's to low 12's, depending on all the usual stuff. Though, FWD is a pain.

Overall, taking cost, modification options, ease of modifications, cost vs performance output, etc etc I would have to say an Evo. A WRX close second but it does have better reliability and bomb-proof construction over the Evo.
