My friend is looking to get a new car and he asked me what a good car is to get so he can mod it. I told him to look for something with a turbo. He wants it to be atleast a 2000 and for not so expensive parts. Would u guy say like a WRX? I think he wants to get this car to be very quick. It will also be manual. What cars should i tell him to look at?

he doesnt exactly kno his dad says he will base it on the car and then discuss price, im gonna says maybe 20 or 25k.

 

I dunno, the S4 would be nice but once you start modding it, things will break... and they aren't exactly economical to repair. Just get an S4 and chip it... that should be fast enough for some kid. Hell, a stock S4 should be fast enough... but whatever. If it's daddy's money buying the car, I'm sure he'll also step up to the plate to fix it.

Thats the first thing i said but his dad wont get him a car like that or so he said. He said his dad wants him in like an import, 350Z, WRX, SRT-4 (may be domestic but same sort of deal), EVO etc... Maybe even a RX-8 or something like that.

 

well you live in America.. and Audi lives in Germany.. so isnt an S4 an import?

 

id say all hondas, eclipse all thoughs r easy to mod, but if u get into the 2000s, not many cars were turboed (in ur words easy to mod). WRX r good to mod expensive, same with everything else

 

To mod, you have a huge choice. Is there a preference? European, Japanese, domestic? For german I'd pretty much go with the 2.7 TT, or a lexus, and turbo, or sc the ******. No other choice really. Japanese is where you have the greatest choice in my opinion. S15, MR2 Turbo, 300zx, Skyline, scooby, evo, Mitsi VR4, and so on. If I wanted to mod, my personal choice would be either the 2.7TT, or any of the Japanese cars.
