been driving on a cracked rim for 3 weeks..
so my tire was loosing pressure for the last few weeks and i just figured the plug went bad.. well it turns out that my rim was cracked.. thats a bad day.. how good do the rims hold up if you have a crack fixed?

We specify reconditioned alloy wheels all the time in my insurance job. Never heard of a single problem.....Lots cheaper than replacing new - should be around $130 - $170 depending on the wheel and supplier.

they told me $75 to fix the crack, and $175 for the crack and have it totally refinished
