Has anyone ever painted their chrome outer piece on b7 grill? i want to prime and paint it black (my a4 is white) but i have heard mixed reviews. some say that it will peel and chip in a matter of months. is this true?

It'll take IF you prime the piece correctly, but, paint over chrome IS tricky. I'm not an automotive paint guy, so don't ask me how...
