luckily I put 4k in maintenance into my car this month

on the one hand the car feels brand new!

on the other hand I am on the verge of brokeness....salary FTL!...lol

still need, front upper control arms (waiting for them to come in)

gotta order socks and springs (waitin on funds)[>:]

new paint job/body work (should have this done in the next two months*fingers crossed*)

if you asked me a month ago, my post would look like an essay [&:]

 

Oh, boy...

- Gaskets on both sides ofthe rear diff need to be replaced.
- Driver side power steering rack leaks and needs to be replaced.
- Slight oil leak, nothing major but I can smell burned oil when I get out of the car after driving.
- Heater core is clogged, needs to be flushed.
- A/C Evaporator has a leak, needs to be replaced.
- Re-breather hose on driver side cylinder head cover is broken, currently patched with a piece of vacuum hose, needs to be replaced.
- Belly pan bracket occasionally gets bent down far enough to scrape on pavement, makes loud, irritating noises.
- Massive key scratch along the entire passenger side. Getting painted this week!
- Small crease on right rear quarter panel remains after popping out a dent made by ice chunk thrown by a snow plow while I was parked in my parents' driveway. Getting fixed along with paint this week.
- Front bumperis cracked from sliding on ice and hitting a snow bank. Getting fixed along with paint and dent.
- Leather wrap is peeling off the steering wheel. Needs to be replaced.
- Shift **** needs to be replaced.
- Driver's seat has a tear.
- It's a 12-valve, SOHC 2.8L V6 that will never, EVER be fast.
- 4x4 Status

 

I've spent over $5,000 in repairs in my ride so i don't think there is any problems at the moment.
Oh, the navigation isstuck in German and i can't change it [:@]I never use it anyway though.

1. My car got hit and the body shop did a shitty job fixing it. (see photo #1,2,+3)

2. Exhaust is pretty much falling off. (see photo 4)

5. Every Speaker is Blown

6. Have 4 18x8.5 wheels in my room.....with no tires.

7. Turbos are NOT anywhere near big enough

8. Diiiirty outside, dirty engine bay.

9. I dont have 500whp


I havent really been home since August for any legnth of time . . . but i will be there next week to do speakers, turbo timer, tires, wash, and the exhaust. Once its clean i can remove the awful badges on the back, and get rid of what I HOPE is just wax on my doors.

Good news is while iv been at college iv taken care of the important stuff! Full timing-belt and associated, tune up, RS4 clutch and LWFW, DTS, Engine and snub mount, slotted rotors and new pads, bipipe, dv's, some hoses. That was like $5000 + Shop wasnt too happy when i paid them in $20's hahaha

 

I have a taillight out, and a scratch on my rear passenger door...
Other than that, everything is excellent!!!

some squeeks , thats about it. at 115k miles

within the next 5k miles the car will get timing belt job #2, brakes all around, full control arms/suspension and a brake flush.
