Why would you take a 4 banger over a v8?

yeah you can slap some turbos and **** on and get it up to par..but you do the same to the v8 and he'll eat you alive

someone explain to me why 4 bangers are popular

sure..4 banger can make a light car go fast
v8 in a light car would be even better...

Because most monstrous V8s in light-weight cars don't handle worth a sh¡t(??). [>:]

Once you get out of high school, stop driving you dads big ford truck, and drive and audi, you will understand.

And I agree, a 4 cylinder in anything but an audi sucks.

its a '66 stang but it sucks gas like a truck

and is only reliable like 90% of the time

audis are probably reliable like..99.9%

well personally I don't like drag racing so to me a nimble sporty car that can keep the revs up and stay high in the power band would be more advantageous to me. Don't get me wrong I love the sound and feel of a V8 and audi's like the RS4 have big V8's that are awesome but for the average person saving gas and using a turbo is a better idea. In my opinion

I have a 78 2dr Chevy Malibu with a 383 stroker, TCI TH350, and Grand National 8.5" rear endwith a locker (posi)in my garage too. I drive my Audi everyday and I love it, but when I want to scare the **** out of myself I take that car out. I built that car up almost 9 years ago - and the reliability does suck somewhat since day 1. Not to mention 10 mpg on a good day.
