well i must disagree with you on the fact that audi is better then the BMW. Currently i have my 01 a4 to compair with my moms 07 328xi with sport package (tip) and my dads 01 m5.

Sorry .. must disagree .. I own a 1998 540 and i would drive it any day of the week before I would drive myaudi 1999 A4 2.8 quattro ..i know you can't compare oranges to apples ..
Those aren't really comparisons. Especially the 01 A4 to a 07 328xi.

Personally I like them both, so HA.

I agree with onepoint8tee, this thread and this topic will go on forever, and ever and ever, and ever... gives me an idea...

This is the thread that never ends, oh it goes on and on my friends, some people started typing it not knowing what it was, and know they keep on typing it forever just because... (repeat to infinity)

ya but in reality i have once driven an 07 a4 2.0t and i can still say the BMW was better. As a matter of fact my dad was gonna get my mom an audi in the first palce. I told him to get her one. we went to a coupple dealerships looking at new A3's first. after looking at the 2.0t he like it but it felt way to cheep when he drove it beucase the lack of quattro and the fwd the car has makes way to much wheel spin and the front wheels bob up and down when they slip. then we looked at an A4 he like it but for the money the BMW was a much better car. Also the fact that BMW's are almost always the benchmark for other cars including audi to beat really says a lot about thier cars.

well lots of critics has officailly claimed the RS4 better than the M3, which is a really bold statement so HA, we got the AWD hot rod saloon daddy.

The A4 is a great car but when it comes to driving dynamics BMW has the edge. As a quick comparison I drove my friend's e46 328i tip and even though it has just about the same hp as my car it pulls harder, more stable at speeds, steering is more precise, better brakes, the engine loves to rev high, and the seats feel more comfortable as well as warm your lower back, not just your butt in the A4. I've never liked the bmw interior though, even my dad's 540i (torque monster) feels cold and uninviting. As a winter car the A4 wins hands down but bmws are just so slightly better driver's cars IMO. I have driven a b7 2.0T and it does feel just, if not more, solid as a 3 series. In terms of looks, comfort, and everyday (any weather) drivability Audi wins. Face it BMWs are better driver's cars, more edgy, more rewarding. Reliabilty is a different story, both can be expensive PITA.

Depends on what a drivers looking for. But I'll say this, overall as a company, I'd vote BMW. With that said, i'd take an rs4 (or the future rs5 especially if it has turbos *drools*) over any bmw any day of the week. I also prefer Audi's public image much more. So my vote goes for Audi, I do love bmw's though. My friends picking up a 135 when they're available in the states (about a month)... I can't wait to see what he does with it.

I bought my s4 last year as a first car ( 24 years old! ) I knew I wanted german, power, a stick, and awd. so it was either the s4 or a 330xi . the s4 blows it away and it's it was soo much less expensive. plus with the mods ( came w/ it) it's just incredible. my bro has a 98 540 sport and mine is faster and feels a lot smoother. not the best comparison by any means, buuut I tried. next sport sedan i'll test the m5 and rs6 in a few years. that'll be fun!
