They ONLY get snow that "sticks" in any appreciable amount about once every 5-years. People around here are clueless in the RAIN. Snow, to Maryland/Virginia/DC drivers, as I have told my Daughter after she complained about their helplessness on snow-covered roads, is like each flake is a 3-headed alien, come to invade the landscape. So, you can see why they freak out when billions-and-billions of these 3-headed aliens blanket the countryside, and start sucking the brains OUT of the drivers.
