Hey guys I just bought a 2001 A4 2.8L Quattro and I've been having issues with the dash. The letters seem "staticky" or "burnt out". The past owner said he recently changed the battery so maybe it messed up a ground? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've attached a picture to the post. Thanks!!

 

That is the most common issue with the B5. You can change the screen for (I believe) $75 in parts.
