looks more like a submersible, but I think it's kinda cool.

Looks interesting I read about it in a magazine. But its just destined to be one of thosecars that looks cool, gets good fuel economy, but then you never hear about it again

CFD design tends to evolve into such "looks." At some level of understanding (i.e. mathametically) air IS a fluid. Managing its' "flow" for efficency is very much similiar to managing waters' "flow" around a sub for effecient travel underwater. cD and laminar-flow play important roles CFD-design.

^^^ you an engineer? I'm an EE. My fluids teacher was a crazy old chinese guy and I didn't get a whole lot out of that class haha.
