I drive like almost all highway so I guess that would make a big difference.

 

never used Shell in my Audi they did a test a few years ago that shell and petro canada had something in their gas that ate up the fuel senders ever since that i've always used sunoco its like 10 minutes from my house but i get good milage on it the car run good.

 

I've been running Sunoco 94 for a while now. I haven't run Shell since they came out with the V-Power gas. There are only two Sunoco stations around here and about 20 Shell stations. I'll giver a try next time I'm empty.

 

sunoco makes good gas ever tried union 76 IMO opionion they make the best 100+ octane gas. while at the 1320 i use turbo blue 116

 

I use the Shell gas and have been getting in the 300ish range on a 3.0.

Anyone else in CA getting raped for 91 octane? I'm paying 2.51!!!!

 

Yeah, I filled up yesterday. don't remember exactly how much it was, but it was approx 2.51 - 2.54 - at an ARCO no less. - Orange County.

I do a mix of highway and city driving....so I can't really give a consistent number on how much mileage i get out of my A6. But, I'm glad im in the same boat as you guys...

I'm paying up to 2.55 for one gallon of 93 octane wherever I go.....it almost makes me wanna drive out of chicago just to fill up gas.

 

i always fill up with shell gas, i dont really like arco, and 76 and chev near my house are to expensive compared to shell its like always 15cent more for 91 compared to shell. If i drive alot of free way the trip computers says 390 miles on a tank but its never really ends up at 390.
