if so, i am having problems with the special forces expansion pack. i havnt played the game for like 8 months and now i can't run a single player or a online game. what patch is being used, i updated to the 1.41 for bf2 and 1.2 for the special forces and nothing.

 

Haven't played in a while, but I kick *** when I do. Shot down a helo using my last round in my shotgun, once. Ahhh, the memories...

I play battlefield2(PC) but I don't own it so I can't help you on your problem. It's a sick game.

 

so i decided to reinstall the game and all patchs, now i get this msg

I think you downloaded something bogus.

 

hmmm, i tried it with just installing the game and no patchs and get the same msg.

 

Where did you download the patches from?

 

it does for some reason seem to patch itself befor the game is installing it self.
