Default Anyone into RC trucks?

So, with the new shop near completion, everyone is in a frenzy to get RC trucks/buggys/truggys/cars/helicopters/etc to run around the vast amount of shop space we'll have to grow into. I bought a basketcase T-Maxx a couple years ago for $200 and had no clue what I had stumbled across. I guess anyone INTO T-Maxxes would probably have heard of Unlimited Engineering, and their Supermaxx parts. Well, I have a very hefty SuperMaxx chassis. Aluminum frame, control arms, shock towers, heavy duty diffs front and rear, all turned by a Ofna Picco .26 engine w/ Ofna 053 tuned pipe. Only things stock on this truck are the tranny (forward only mod though) and spindles. It's like a $1000 truck, so I'm pretty happy.

Its funny to think of a motor that can fit in your hand as a 'big block', but it is. 4.3cc's making 3 horsepower!!!! Hows that for power to weight!

Anyway, thats the jist of my truck. What do you guys have?

1/28th scale?

Is that like, the size of a cell phone?

Pa4ul, ditch the electric onboard start, and get the conversion to start it with an electric drill. saves weight, and probably cheaper than a starter motor.
And if you F'd up your steering servo, i bet its because you don't have a decent 'servo saver' on your truck? Those 2 mods will save you a bunch of headaches.

I used to race semi pro stadium trucks. Mostly in the modified truck electric series. I had the matt francis addition losi graphic truck and on flat pavement would do close to 65 ish. The thing screamed! I then took it to a race and caught the motor on fire (that was cool looking) and then at the same time broke the whole back end off of the truck. After that I never really raced again. HAHA I too had a T-Maxx... that thing was sweet!

i have a HPI nitro RS4. its a car but still tons of fun. but like some others on here it needs a starter. hopefully ill get it running someday. i currently have a skyline and stratus body for it and it has open exhaust and was 'converted' to RWD.

anybody know if they made B5 bodys for this car??

yeah, i meant anything RC, but with all the truck talk here at work, I just mentioned trucks.

What scale is your car? I did a google search for '1/10 scale rc body audi' and it came up with a crapload of TT bodies. Probably have to look a little harder for anything more.
