Ya i know what you all mean. I did the same thing at the local BMW dealership, i just wanted to see if they had an STI that i could test out and the guy ended up letting me drive a 2002 M3 and a brand new 08 323!!!
They have also now called me 3 times since i left the dealership. annoyyyyying!!!

Yea everyones feeling the crunch. For the past few months the shop has been DEAD. Only some of sears' loyal customers still remain. I use to make good money there but no one is coming in for major services so sometimes I don't even bother going in to work. If it wasn't for the military I'd be screwed. Got hooked up with another Fed job so things will be alright. Even in Manhattan where its $$$ my dad complains about the soft real estate market. And its only gonna get worse before it gets better.

I feel it hardcore.
my parents run and own a computer store and recently had some big orders. well it took the people WAY too long to pay the bills for the orders, so when the bills came to us to pay for the things we sold. we couldnt pay for them cause the other people hadnt paid us for the things they bought. well long story short. now our credit is complete **** and its not even our fault. great time to have bad credit, huh?

Even at 18 years old, me and a friend went and test drove a buncha cars that range from 15k-25k.. couldn't really pull off anything higher or more luxury than that. But still it was fun, had a good time. But yeah, dealers want you to testdrive, badly.

I think I'll be safe for a while. As long as rich guys are tracking their Porsches, and Boeing/Airbus keep building, it'll trickle down to me. It is a little disturbing to see people losing jobs though. Not cool.
