mjcole, you sound highly educated, where'd you go to school?
I'm flattered. B. Math (Waterloo Computer Science Co-op Honours) M. Eng (Ryerson Computer Networks) But everything important I learned in kindergarten... which I might add was publicly funded. Course I got a bit of "socialist brainwashing" from my father who did a BA (Poly Sci U of T) and a M Ed (U of T) back in the 60's and early 70's... and my socialist mother, she only has a B Ed (U of T).

What did Newton say? I have only seen as far as I have because I stood on the shoulders of giants. Well I stood on the shoulders of reformed (ex) conservatives (my dad).

Well if you accept my claim that the best thing to study in University is Beer (and members of whatever sexual group appeals to you) then yes UWO is the place to go... IF and this is very important you must own a black BMW 300 series car. If its silver, if its a 535, if its an Audi, forget it! Everyone, (except my former g/f... now my wife!) owns a BMW, even the grounds crew all own BMWs, so you are in the wrong forum for UWO.

As for the town of Waterloo, the locals hate Univeristy students, they like to give parking tickets to us, to avenge the wild parties (those mathies and engineers get pretty wild when they have their study sessions in the library... sometimes its so loud you can't even hear a pin drop from 50 m away!)

My advice is, for the love of sanity, do NOT go to Waterlooser, unless you want to retain your virginity (nut case!) In my M section of 60 something people there were three women, I dated one, had a crush on one (she already had a boy friend) and the third was to horrifing to look at... but I dated her best friend![:'(]

And remember, unlike me, if you go to a nightclub and a really really hot babe tries to pick you up, because she is trying to get laid than her roommate (this is the truth, really it is!) don't do what I did and develop a sudden phobia about STDs. What's the worst that can happen you get AIDS and die? We all die eventually, now for the rest of my life I have to wonder if she is as wild in bed as she was on the dance floor.

PS please don't take anything I say too seriously, unless they develop an effective therapy for AIDS, in which case... I wanna go back to school! (High school, there were real hotties there! Mind you there was a hotty in my grad class...)

University of Beer... damn right! it boggles my mind how we retain one of the most prestigious diplomas of all the land... yet also retain the reputation of the best party school.... YES!!! Hell, one of our residences, Saugeen Maitland, was rated the SECOND most likely place you're gonna get laid... in NORTH AMERICA.
If you're farimilar with UWO, I'm at King's... away from the rich bitches at Main... here, BMWs are rare... very rare. But... we do have one tuned out Intrigue ............
King's to study, Main to party... wohoo!
i think you just made up my mind about Waterloo and Laurier... I've heard that from a couple friends, so I think i'm gonna stay right here in London, unfortunatly, where I grew up. *sigh* I guess I'm just gonna have to deal with seeing my Mom in the grocery store...
