Default Any SoCal'ers feel the Earthquake?

I just felt a little earthquake here in NorCal, SF Bay Area at 11:25PM. According to the news, it was a 5.3 originating in the LA Area.

Anyone else feel it?

There was a 5.3 east of L.A. at about 1:55pm yesterday. I felt that one. I was in Mira Mesa (San Diego area). Building I was in moved pretty good. But not everyone in the office felt it..

Interesting website www.usgs.gov

close to realtime info on earthquakes

I was looking at that site... it seems I felt a 6.7 that was 304 miles from the SF Bay at 10:21, I felt it an hour afterwards. Lots of activity around here.

My house has been sahking alot. I didnt feel the one up north but i have felt 3 others in the past week. My dad has a house in La Quinta (palm desert) and its like 20 mi away from 2 of teh faults. We have to go down and check for damage. I am just glad that we dont have tornados or monsoons or anything. I will take earthquakes anyday of the week over those.

Yeah, I think earthquakes are pretty fun so long as nothing is damaged. Its kind of an awesome feeling - the earth shaking under your feet.
