Theres this porridge type of soup - Arroz Caldo. literally translated "Rice soup"
Its basically a chicken stock w/ chicken sauteed in ginger & onions... in soup / porridge form
definitely comfort food.

In southern China they call this congee and it is very good. When I lived in HK, I would go to a congee place at least once a week.

a. i used to get it all the time, people used to say wow thats a nice clean civic u got there, but really i say thanks and just brush it off , i get that from alot of gurls

Yeah the dish I was referring to is actualy very similar to congee -
usually we garnish w/ a sweet/sour citrus fruit called - calamansi
