not as a rule but then it depends on job. but jobs usually describe the abilities you should have and it is your respondsaibility to meet those requirements
To me it is only a disability if it is out of your control and is considered a medical problem beyond your control even though you are trying everything possible to control it.

I am considered obese at 5' 10" weighing 188 lbs. I need to get to 170 to be border line over weight.... muscle weighs more then fat...
