A: the cool people (and the prettiest women) hang out at the 21 bars.

Q: do you think gas prices will level out soon? maybe even go down a bit? i just don't see how the low income people survive, other than being supported by the higher income people.

A. I'm not sure, what I think is that big oil companies will push the price up until we fight back somehow and then it;ll cap there. Where that level is I'm not sure. *but that is using the classical model of economics where markets work well* since oil is an oligopoly though using a Keynsean model might be more effective and in which case the Govt. should do something, which they won't, so we will see where this all goes.

Q. Why is Econ such an abstract subject?

A. I would go with probably a Dodge Neon or something like that, cobalt, neon, focus, etc. they all get pretty good gas millage and probably have low running costs, but I would say get Japanese before you get American, most American cars are built for the ho-hum consumer who isn't looking for any thrill in their ride. They are purely point A to point B vehicles.

Q. on the hunt for something a little less thirsty than the S4?

A: heck no...i love my car. if i get to the point where i need a "gas saver", i'll get a smaller sports car.....a two-seater maybe.

Q: got an offer from a dealer on a car.he "was beingvery up front and honest" with me andsaid that since it was end of the month, he would let it go at "this price", but it was only goodtill closing may 31st. soooooo, do you think if i went back this week and said, i'll take it,he'd honor thesame price???

(i was just gonna say, hey i know i'm late, butcall me ifyou decide to sell at that price, i'll have cash for full payment.)

A. I think if it was a cash deal, the dealer would be willing to work with you on the price
