The way I see it, screw marriage - why ruin a good thing by making it a legally binding contract? It's like adding a third person to your relationship; so instead of thinking, "How does this affect the two of us?" you start thinking, "How does this affect my wife and my marriage?" And then everyone else starts expecting you to ACT married, which means that your parents think they can expect you to follow a whole new set of rules they hadn't gotten to slap you with before. I've seen enough marriages (and divorces) in my circle, I'm quite confident it's a load of crap (or at least not for me).

 

The only real way to find the girl of your dreams is to be truly content in who you are alone, and she will find you.

Once you truly stop looking, only then will you find her.

Sounds cheesy, but it's actually true.

i like that Sine is like one of the guys... but with a vagina. its like getting a glimpse into the enemy camp or something. anyway, i've been doing the 'not looking' thing for about 5 years. hasnt worked out past a drunken bar hookup. no keepers. suppose you need to do things that are pretty social. i spend a lot of time working on cars and shooting guns. not many girls in those circles. went out with a redhead a couple times recently. shes bi, thats cool. kinda messed up past, but the past is just that. just cant relate to her enough to see it going anywhere.

theres 60,000 people in VT. and its not a problem of finding girls, its a problem of finding girls that appreciate a hunting story, or will change my oil with me, but still retain hottie qualities in the looks dept. lots of hotties who are terrified of getting dirty and hate guns, and lots of girls who are all about getting dirty, but they also usually smell like cow **** all the time, and have hairy legs. nooooooo... oh and im unwilling to learn french, so montreal is out.
