Don't recall where I read this but some guy had his supra impounded for parking tickets and it just disappeared. Cops didn't know where it went, bank was trying to find it, towing company didn't have records, all sorts of drama. It took the guy a few years to find it after a rat at the precinct gave him a location. Come to find out a cop parked it in a warehouse next to a toll plaza thinking the owner would give up the search.

 

One of my biggest fears is misplacing a vehicle. We handle over 300 vehicles at a time processing over 15 a day - in and out. We're computerized and are about to go barcode to insure we never lose one.

And from what I here - we're going to be getting a substantial increase sometime soon. All the more to be diligent about.
