Angry Topic!
Did anyone watch Sixty Minutes tonight? Is anyone else around here outraged every time they talk about how terrible and evil marijuana is? I have always been baffled with why it is illegal in the great country that we live in. It's a plant! They never look at the positives that it has. I would much rather smoke then get into a car than drink and get into a car. What is someone going to do if they smoke too much and drive? Go too slow? Anyway, I just thought I would vent about the subject.

I'll check it out after din din tonight. I just can't stand the whole thing. Can you imagine how peaceful everyone in the world would be if they smoked? There would be traffic jams all over the place and everyone would have a smile on their face. LOL.

Here's what baffles me: Alcohol, if taken in large enough amounts, can kill you. No one has ever OD'd on marijuana.
Weed doesn't make you belligerent, it doesn't make you want to do stupid things, it doesn't make you want to fight someone or rape them.
It doesn't impair your judgment or your senses past the point of usefulness. Alcohol...does.

it loses something when you just post the lyrics, you really have to hear the song. Anyway, anyone know if they make any kind of chewing pot like chewing tobacco (not for actual chewing like Red Man, but more like a Skoal).

I think the government makes too much $$ off of marij to make it legal. On a side note though, I wrote a research paper in college on why marijuana SHOULDN'T be legal (I had to debate this stupid hippie chick) and there are some downsides to it that you don't really realize. It's been awhile but I remember that pot has 4 times more tar than tobacco and that of course your motor skills won't quite be up to par. But anyway, if cigarettes are legal (and I used to smoke [&:]) then marij should be too.

I would vote to legalize it. I agree 100% on what cary and yuikio said about it. I know the times that I have done it I havent gone into "stoned rage". I just usually sit there and chill.
