yah... seriously though, i just came on here to respond to a couple things people said directed to me... and maybe look at a couple interesting titles. ugh

 

my buddy has the first year of the rsx type s in black with black leather. it is a very nice car that has alot of potential. he has a full mugen kit on it and it is slamed on some aftermarket rims. THE CAR LOOKS SIK. he has only a intake on it and it gets loud when he is on it and it pulls hard.

 

Yeah v-tech is pretty neat... I just can't get over the lack of torque.

Anybody know if the Integra Type-R I drove is faster than an RSX Type S? I know the RSX gets a 6 spd, and the Type R only has 5... but I think the Type R was a more bare bones racer.

 

ok guys... how about this one (started working this idea with the mechanic i might be working with).
so... we all know the volvo S40 right?
what platform is it on?
what engine and drivetrain are going in the new focus RS?
so.... T5 AWD Focus? or RSX-S turbo? or chipped A4?

Edit: this would make a 218hp 236lb/tq AWD 6sp focus... with TONS of room for future modding... seeing as this is a completly stock S40 engine...

so my thoughts have been.. "i'll be selling the focus... then what?"
so for the same money as buying an RSX.. i could drop an engine (albeit the AWD part will be later... if ever). though I could get a A4 (like 99) for around 2K more than i sell my Focus for (dealership i bought it from will buy it from me for 9K). the only problem is... if a repair comes up... i'll be one poor ****... so i really think the A4 is outta my price range as of now.

so... maybe down the road an A4? and by then the RSX or Focus T5 will be my track bitch?

not sure how turboing an rsxs is gonna be, reliability wise. i heard good things if u pay a pretty penny to get it done. its a high compression motor, so jus slapping a turbo on it, wont be ideal.

..why not lookin into a V-dubb? like a 1.8T jetta, or even the golf if thats ur thing???

 

because if i could afford the german repairs.... the other 2 options would be instantly out the window
