alright guys heres the deal, im new to this forum, and im new to audis in general. i bought my audi with a radio in it that worked but not very well. i have a jensen for it that i hooked up today and its worked. it played and everything. but now here the problem. the climate control. doesn't work, none of the buttons work, the fan, the temp, the auto none of it works. but if i turn the head lights on the interior lights on the climate control turn on, so i know there is power to the unit, and i checked the fuses in the panel none of them are blown. and all of the plugs in the back of the unit are plugged in. any one have any ideas.

 

come on guys, i know someone has an idea. i really need the help.

 

What year is your car as that will determine which climate control you have. Off hand I would say you have an electrical problem and whoever installed your stereo might have spliced into some wires that they should not have. I would take it to a stereo shop and see if they can help you out and check the install. If it is your climate control, you can always go and find a used one on ebay or your local junk yard. Try putting in a new one to see if it works better but you need to find out about your electrical first. I would start with a stereo shop to see if they can help you.
