I have put new plugs checked vacuum leaks new fuel filter cleaned throttle body. Starts ruff and has acceleration problem at 1500rpm car was fine when parked any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Check ignition wires and coilpacks. Is it throwing a cel? If so, get the code read to find out what cylinder is missing, locate the appropriate wire and switch it with a different cylinder - if the code follows to the next cylinder, its the wire, if not, most likely the coil. Also, try posting to the a6 forums if you haven't, they'll be able to help more
