Well I'm in St. Paul, MN right now, just got to the hotel at 3:00 PM Central. Staying at the Holiday Inn across from the Xcel Energy Center, walked down the street about 3 shops down to get a pack of cigs (yeah, I started again from the big "D" but whatever, beside the point) and stumbled upon this tight *** glass shop. I picked up a "oney" and just got done smokin', I'm about to go eat at this tight *** Pub across the street. Anyway, back on topic, tomorrow is the 311 concert and I'm hella stoaked. This is going to be my first concer ever (yeah at 23, I'm just going to my first concert, what the hell) and it's going to be a blast, 311 kicks A$$. I'll update this thread with pics and/or vids after the concert but for now PEACE OUT and stay chill.[sm=pimp.gif]

Damn, it would be sick if they came up into the Bay Area.

 

Saw them in cincy last week. Played alot of old stuff which i loved, but the little peeps running around only wanted to hear amber so they were mad. I love the old school stuff. Grassroots FTW!

 

Grassroots ftmfw for sure. They played a lot of good **** (which was pretty much all the songs[8D]), I'm glad they played some old school songs and a couple new ones too!! There will be pics up tonight of the concert my batteries from my camera were dead and they're charging now.

 

Here are the pics I was able to get before my camera died. What a great show, if you ever get a chance see these guys live!!! The order of the show went: Dirty Heads (who I didn't get any pics of, had to have a buddy bring it from the hotel), who were a great show (think of Beastie Boys mixed with the Kotton Mouth Kings); the second was MATISYAHU, and then was 311.

The last time I saw them was about 5 years ago in Pennsylvania.
Damn, the self titled album is old. (My favorite)
I just re-bought it a month ago because it got worn out.

I Love when bands play old stuff instead of their new "hits" It's good to know a band from back in the day still remembers the people who have followed them through the years.

 

wow, i cant believe people still listen to 311. i didnt even know they performed anymore
