Thats right, I just averaged nearly 49mpg on my trip to Tennessee and back! Plus, I found tons of dirt roads (rally Audi FTW) crossed three streams, ripped my under engine pan, cracked my bumper so now my lip is kinda falling off on the drivers side, and my car is covered in mud, bugs, and other gross crap! But, it was a hell of a trip!

 

not possible unless you were drafting the entire trip, especially if you were ripping it up on the dirt roads

 

i need proof, even a trip odometer pic will do. but still ridiculous mileage.

maybe if it was like a deisel or you were using some 110 octane but not really possible maybe if you were getting towed or something!

Practically flat highways being able to go 75mph + small 4cyl engine + turbo = insane mileage

 

I believe it @ 75 on flat hwy the 1.8 is super efficient. I've seen 40+ on longer trips here in CO on our not so flat hwys.
