I wish Audi would take their V-10 Diesel to F1. THAT would make for some interesting racing, I think.
I think it is around 250hp short, a bit low on revs and slightly heavy for an F1 car.

It would be great if Audi would join F1 racing though.

Think how much better that could be now with traction control and a compu sending torque to the wheels independently. It would end up getting banned just like turbos and racing slicks did. [>:]

Round 2 is in the books and Renault continues to look strong, taking both 1st and 2nd in Malaysia. Both Ferraris finished in the points, but not on the podium.

It was a pretty good race because many of the faster cars were forced to start further back due to the rules on making engine changes. For instance, M Schumacher had the 4th best qualifying time , but had to start 14th.

I wonder if Renault can keep this pace up once we get to Europe. I think both Ferrari and McLaren will start making better showings once the tour gets to Europe.

Due to overwhelming interest in this thread <cough>, I'll bump it up as the Australian Grand Prix is about to start in a few minutes on Speed.

Honda on pole. The 2 Renaults right after that. MSchumacher back in 11th with a full tank of gas.

This is a fast track and the qualifying order should make for a wild start.

Hopefully Button can get his frst win. He seems to get decent shouts for grid position, then seems to drop back to 4th, or thereabouts...

I think those Renaults are going to killed the Honda on the start. They always get these crazy launches.
