I think he'd let it go for high 30s, maybe mid if he had another specific car ready to be purchased. 60k miles, but the thing doesn't show it at all. He doesn't have a CL in the wings yet, not many of them for sale here.

I don't think that the trunk lid has been painted. It's probably just the editing I did. I sharpened the center of the pic and blurred the edges to draw the eye to the taillight/badge area.

 

Sure, I can see that, but he has specific wants and needs that the M5 fills perfectly, and teh CL won't. The CL won't handle like this car, and that is something that he likes to do. Plus, he has young kids that need safety seats. Trying to get chitlins in and out of a tight two door like that everyday doesn't make much sense when the four door car you sold is also a better performing car.

I told him to finish off the DINAN mods with the full S3 kit. It would cost him about the same to do that than it would to sell the M5 and buy the CL (or only slightly more), and then he'd have 640hp and could just about annihilate any CL/CLS/E/S/SL ever made, including the 65s.

S3 M5 and a Ford GT. That's what would fit what he wants the best, but he doesn't listen to me sometimes.

Anthracite Metallic. Yeah, that was THE color to have on this car. That color is actually the only reason I was able to sellthe car for what I did. The guy wanted that color, mine was the only nice one he could find, so he was willing to pay what I wanted, which was about $7k more than the car should have been worth.

 

i would kill for that car. not just the expression, i'd straight kill a fool to have that car.
