Seems like you're comparing apples and oranges here...

Astin Martin should win - if all involved are stock.

Heavily modified Supra pretty much will give anything stock a thrashing... but then again anything heavily modified with twin turbos pushing 1100 ponies will... imo

its hard to say really because of emissions these days and the newer cars suffer from lack of performance even though the turbo is fitted and its only there to compensate for loss of power compared to the older cars

I'm not saying I would ever take a Supra over a Vanquish. I don't care how fast it is. Supra's are cool cars stock. No graphics or stupid paint jobs. Nice lines and such but the guy could have bought the Vanquish with the amount of $$ needed to get to 1100HP. well, maybe not, but you get the idea. MissionControl...check out this:

Supras hit well over 1100 HP with massive twinturbo setups. Stupid waste of $$ if you ask me because you can have this:

Can anyone say BOOYAH! Obvious choice IMO.

touche good man touche. the majority of supra's pushing that amount of HP are indeed single turbo tho, resulting in HUGE lag. either was i'd take the vanquish...well i'd take either, but if i was forced to buy one or the other it would be the vanquish

Supra all the way, their just beasts. with enough tuning i think theyll outdo the skyline.

well if the supra is 1100hp i highly doubt its still twin turbo..

Actually, Supras puching over 1000 are usually twin, though you guys seems to be thinking stock twins. No, they just put two big *** turbos on there. Singles are the way to go up to about 900-1000, after than most people drop on a pair of GT35s or something. It's not impossible to make that kind of power on a single, but you'd be an idiot to do it that way.

supras are pretty good cars, i just feel like theyre overhyped and overpriced for what they really are. the aston martin should do the supra in, its much higher on the sports car scale IMO
The sad part is, the Supra will outhandle the Aston, and the Vank is onl slightly faster out of the box than the stock Supra, low 13s for both from the factory. And if you look at the roll on times, 100-150mph, the Supra walks away. You so much as put a boost controller and exhaust on the Supra and the Vank is toast. Sure the Astons are sexier, but if you rate the sports car scale by actual performance and not image, the Vank is junk and the Supra is way above it.

As good as the Supra is, the Skyline will do everything better. Every dollar you spend on a Skyline will make it go faster than that same dollar will on the Supra. The engine is better, the suspension is better, the drivetrains is better, the weight distribution is better, everything is better on the 'Line. Streetable Supras cap around 1500 rear wheel horsepower with a factory block and all forged crank and rods, but I've seen true street legal Skylines hit 1800 ALL wheel horsepower on a stock block and crank, meaning that with greater drivetrain loss from the AWD, the RB is pushing out 7-800 more horsies than the 2JZ can do. The Skyline is like Audrey Hepburn, any other chicks are only hot until you compare them to her. There are sports cars, then there are supercars, then there's the Skyline.
