^ All sorts of buisnesses are closing their stores down. As a matter of fact yesterday I heard about the problems Home Depot and Circuit City are having. Now I understand why old people are grumpy....LOL I guess I would be too after a lifetime of let downs..... Oops did I just type that out loud.

The government should not bail out any car manufacturers until something is done about the Union. I've heard stories of people being paid $70/hr to do literally nothing for years. The Union is making it hard to compete with foriegn companies and is holding back progress.

Yeah, GM (and other unions) are a huge farce.
Nobody should make 30 bucks an hour (45-60 on weekends!) for doing something a robot could do. I still wonder why robots AREN'T doing these jobs... Or monkeys, perhaps. Some of the jobs could be done by a monkey, I'm sure of it. Not all... but some.

So we should give jobs to robots? Last month 250,000 people lost their jobs! That makes absolutely no scence. I'll be making 27 dollars and hour in 2-3 years. Trust me my jobs not hard and all new forklifts and heavy machinery troubleshot themselves just like cars, I just have to find the fault. Anyways I'm rambling, but leave jobs to humans. They shouldn't squander $$$ on prototypes that aren't going to be produced and multi-million dollar corporate personnel. If they squander their profits.....screw em!

I'm not noticing the DOW Jones rising back to 10K for some reason. In fact, Thursday it tested it's new low at 8K again. I think if the gov't doesn't bail out GM and GM goes bankrupt and closes, then the huge job losses along with even lower consumer spending are going to push the DOW to 7K before we see 10K again. The market definitely is not rising back up on confidence in the upcoming Obama administration.
