Like a flat tax? Wrong. Progressive taxes are the best way to keep taxes fair(ish). Even with the economy in its current state, the rich are still getting richer and will continue to do so...just maybe not at such an explosive rate. The whole argument that higher taxes will reduce or squelch the incentive to produce and innovate is sooooo tired...that's NOT what happens. People don't just STOP because costs increase. You said you're worried about your parents' business...I hear ya! But think about what's happening right now to small business owners (and the entire country!) as a result of Republican economic policies...policies that McCain would perpetuate. No, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

did you see that glass by obamas speech?! i wish i was that important... lol...

i think ive clearly stated my views... i dont hate obama. i wouldve like to have seen mccain, but people, ITS OVER, its now OBAMA, get used to it for 4 years or just go away? canada? mexico? coma? something... cause at this point, especially now, we dont need groggy people pouting about a black man as president.. its done.

we need to kinda pay attention though, to all his policies that will be coming, and just how he pieces the 3D cluster **** of a puzzle bush is about to leave...

Yeah, flat tax handicap and poor people who can't maintain a job for reasons beyond their physical and mental means. That would be equal and fair.... A lot of states are running out of money to give for unemployment and social security is gone for our generation. There is a large community of people who were not born with a silver spoon in their mouths and don't get the oppurtunities in life that you and I do.

I don't hate obama but I greatly disagree with him. I am not going to be ok with him being president JUST because he won. I know he is president and that can't be changed but at the same time things are just going to be really bad...

Oh and Sineo... the small businesses are going to be hurting too... If the minimum wage is increased then that is going to REALLy hurt small businesses. Some sources are saying possibly double min. wage. (this is not all obama btw, this is a lot of the people in the house of reps). They and the senate are the ones who really will control what happens.

Ok that different... if you are PHYSICALLY or MENTALLY unable to work then there should be other policies or things to cover those people. I am talking about the people who go out on strike because they are not making money when in fact they are LOOSING even more money that they will NEVER make up because of the time lost from not working. Or also people who just are lazy and are on welfare and stuff like that and are not going out and trying to find another job. It's those lazy bums that are going to be getting a free ride from all the other working family's/individuals in the country.

I don't see that happening on the minimum wage front.

But I am a true believer in a flat tax rate - in a sales tax approach... but that's just my thoughts.

In a week the Dow will rise above 10k and things will change now that the election is over and people feel assured of their future
