She lives! And yeah, you aren't kidding. Honestly, my five-year-old daughter speaks far more eloquently than this guy types (and she'd probably out-debate him lol).

I'm not saying that Obama could never have won if McCain hadn't made the errors that he made, but...phew! He made it easy.
I think these points are hard to defend. This article and comment speak to both our views:

But to say that McCain is a **** up and made it easy for Obama is a simplified and inaccurate statement. Did Bush make it easy for Obama? Did the economy make it easy for Obama? Did the media make it easy for Obama?

^^ nothing about an election is easy... however, bush definitely made it easier for obama as bush's approval rating went way down... the economy could just be tied into this bush has done... but the media? i think they played a pretty fair game on both parts, at least around here... so i dont think that made it easier for one candidate or the other

its such a shame to hear someone say McCain was a F*** up.. think about what the man has done in his life... hes been to war. a POW in a shitty vietnam camp.. he was a successful senator, and ran for president and made a fun race outta it... i hardly consider that to be a f*** up

Within the context of his campaign, I stand by my statement. Outside of the campaign, I have already expressed respect for McCain.

^ I think Biden was a worse choice. That man's own party wouldn't nominate him for President. I still think Palin would have been a good choice for VP but she got grilled so hard it wasn't funny while I heard almost no negative press on Biden. I mean come on, people even dragged Sarah's teen daughter into the fray, which was completely unacceptable.

I'm not noticing the DOW Jones rising back to 10K for some reason. In fact, Thursday it tested it's new low at 8K again. I think if the gov't doesn't bail out GM and GM goes bankrupt and closes, then the huge job losses along with even lower consumer spending are going to push the DOW to 7K before we see 10K again. The market definitely is not rising back up on confidence in the upcoming Obama administration.
