Default "THE DRIVER"

..... by Alexander Roy

Just finished reading it.
Anybody else?
I got the impression that the author may be moving around in some of the same circles one or two of the members here may be part of.

I had no idea of the difficulty involved is his endeavor until reading the book.
--- Should make a good movie.

Read the book about a month ago. I thought it was a good read, mostly because i'm a car junkie as i'm sure all of us here are for the most part.

The sooner the movie comes out the better, I seem to be really intrigued when it comes to long distance driving, maybe thats why I love road trips so much...

I read it and it's really really good. Theres also some stuff on youtube about gumball and there was a tv show made. The battle for rome between him and the porsche is probably one of the best things i've ever read. The final crosscountry trip is also really good and I love how he mistakes geeksquad for the cops and pulls over to avoid them My friends and I meet him at the New England Auto Show and got the books signed, we talked to him for about 2 hours and he's a cool guy. The car is sick!

Prior to the M5 that he used in all the rallyes, he has a S4.

He said the main reason he didn't use the s4 for all the races is because it was his fathers and had too much sentimental value.
