Default Good garage in Cambridge, MA? - Possible bad Timing belt tensioner

Hello Everybody, I'm looking for some advice

I've got a 98 Audi A4 2.8 and last weekend it started making a godawful noise in the engine compartment, kindof a rattling that increases with the RPM of the engine

I had my car in a parking garage at the time, don't know any mechanics in the Boston area, so had Geico tow it to one that had decent raitings on Yelp - Foreign Auto Center off Prospect st in Cambridge.

They told me that the engine itself sounds fine, but it sounds like it's coming from the front of the engine near the timing belt and that the timing belt is loose.

They think that the problem may be a bad timing belt tensioner and want to do the work to get down to the timing belt

They quoted me about $1200-1300 ($900 of which is labour) for the whole job, including fixing a leaky valve cover/cam tensioner gasket they found, which I've known about for a little while.

So, how does this sound, worth it? Is the diagnosis/estimate sound? Anybody use/know of this garage or perhap could recommend one in the area?

Thanks for any advice!
