I tried to get a hold of APR today but I was too late, I want to add a K04 turbo in place of my K03. I have APR 92 octane mode, on a 1999 Audi. Will it be okay to bolt it up and be fine or wont it be? If it is okay will I notice any HP gains right away even though it is not mapped for that turbo?

 

Depends on how much boost you are runinng. The car might be fine, but you might end up going lean since the stock injectors are very small. This is why most of the tuners tuned for a 5 bar fpr with the stock injectors or larger injectors. Problem is you cant just throw in either since your tune is setup for stock injectors and a stock 4 bar.

 

I just had a k04 installed on my 2003 A4 and I need to get it chiped and bigger injectors. A good place that sells a kit is blackforrestinndustries.com. Thats the turbo, injectors and chip.
